Share a song for a sunny day.
I'm in a very bad mood today, I'm trying to cheer myself up!!!! AWwwww!!! hahaha! Gosh! Such a bad mood!
This isn't even a good performance, hahah! But I like the song..
Barbie made her debut on this day in 1959. To honor America's favorite doll, show us a Barbie.
Here they are, When I found them in two shoe boxes they had no clothes on, it took me like 30 minutes to dress them, it was a while since last time :) I found my sister's dolls too, she has like 20 more Barbie dolls than I have. My mom has one of the first Barbies, but i can't remember that doll's name, something like Midge or something..Mine are, as said, dolls with the "name" Cindy, but we called them by other names of course, but I can't recall their names..and every doll that looks like a Barbie is called a Barbie, right?....
They funny thing was that the uglier and cheaper they were the ruder they were when we played with them. The fat mom was always rude, she hit the children, but the more younger girls were always nice to everyone. I had a friend and she always broke the dolls' legs, I hated her for that. But it wasn't like we didn't play with them for that, we builded wheel chairs and glued the legs to the body and said that they had had surgey. Mostly it was the horses fault that the broke their legs, I mean they could just move their legs back and forward..Notice one thing, I had a Barbie with colored hair, no one else I knew had one :)
(Since I no longer play with Barbie dolls, no I don't :) I still have them at my mom and dad's place. I'll show you on Thursday, I can't wait...I think that 90% of them are just cheap copies of the real Barbie, like Cindy...haha! And don't forget Ken, the Barbie houses and Barbie cars, and Barbie kitchens, and Barbie ba-
throoms....you can go on forever. I always wanted that white house with pink roof, but I had a cardboard box instead, but that worked too...)
Show us something with your birthstone in it.

Since I was born in November my bitrhstone is topaz, according to some books and websites. The topaz is the transparent stone. In Varberg there is a shop where they sell different kinds of crappy stuff, "magic" stuff, mini Buddhas and tarot cards, you know that kind of things. I just bought those stones because I thought they were beautiful, the reason to why you buy those stones except for my reason, is that the are like ... healing stones. So I guess they have some kind of power or something. I bought them to be like reminders to carry with me when I know there is something extra I need to think of, the purple one for love, the transparent for good sleep, and the blue one is my "singing stone". That is just because I'm so stupid that I believe that if you believe in something very much that will come true, I don't mean like if I believe that I'll win the lottery I will, but more like if I keep this stone under my pillow I will sleep better, I trick my brain that it's true and I sleep better. The scary part was that when I checked what kind of powers they have, the purple one was for love, if you give your partner an amethyst and he gives you one, that means that you are going to love each other for ever, according to on source, the blue one (a sodalite) actually affects the throat, nose and ear area. I searched on google and found the power of the topaz:
Topaz
'Topaz Crystals can be beneficial for general health as well as for eyesight. Topaz was used long ago as a stone of invisibility- it was believed that, if one held Topaz in their left hand, they would not be noticed by those they were trying to avoid. It has also been carried or worn as a good-luck stone. Topaz enhances mental processes, bringing clarity and logic to any situation. They help one to see all aspects of an issue or problem, making it easier to find a solution. In this way, Topaz is also helpful to those searching for existential meaning, illuminating all the pieces of the puzzle and helping one to become receptive to their form.
Clear Topaz, also known as White Topaz or Colorless Topaz works with the Crown Chakra and each of the Etheric Chakras, bringing much energy to one's spiritual experiences. Crystal lovers enjoy Clear Topaz for it's high vibration and purifying quality, helping those on the spiritual path to enhance their growth. Topaz brings clarification to intent, helping one to determine exactly what is desired, so creation can be done consciously rather than by default. Carry Clear Topaz when having trouble with discerning the truth or telling it. These Clear Topaz Crystal Points have a purifying energy to them and are great for meditation, grid work or body layouts'
February 22nd kicks off National Pancake Week. Show us a pancake.
This is what i had for dinner yesterday (I know maybe not the best thing to have for dinner). They aren't Swedish pankakes, but whatever! Those ones are easier to make. I was just angry, because usually when I make pankaces they look more tasty, but whatever, again! I'll take a photo next time...
Play us a song you simply HAVE to sing along with whenever you hear it? (Go ahead and sing too, because you're good!)

February 10th is Umbrella Day. Show us a picture of your umbrella.
Submitted by Emeree.
I LOVE umbrellas, 'under my umbrella-ella-ella...' I can't say I like that song, but I like umbrellas. They get me in a good mood :) I have always wanted a transparent umbrella, and I can't really understand why I haven't bought one? I love the sound the rain makes when it hits the fabric, it has something in common with the sound that is created when the tennis ball hits the racket, smack! but more pleasant and peaceful. It's like sitting in the attic of an old house that has got a tin roof, when it's raining. You can sit there and just listen and do nothing, that is good for the soul. That is why I like umbrellas. (If it's windy like it always is on the west coast, i prefer a raincoat and wellies) (I hate though when I have to walk in the rain in sneakers when i'ts like a storm going on, it makes your hair look like hell, and often in those situation I'm really glad that I don't use very much make up. I hate people who are walking really slowly when the rain is pouring down just because they think it's embarrassing to run - because they think they are too old for that. Think of all the old laidies who can't run, run while you can! :) )
Show us your key ring.
Submitted by Alexandra.
This is quite funny, because this is the third time I have suggested a qotd or a vox hunt that has been chosen. Quite interesting, maybe I write too much? I actually wrote "show us your bunch o keys", but they changed it to key ring...
These are my keys. To the left, my car key, one to my apartment, one to my mom and dad's house, one to my mail box, one to my bicycle, one for the "washing schedule thing" in the laundry room that is in the basement. The Winne the pooh plate actually says, Alexander, my mom gave it to me once, she had bough it in a book store, but had forgotten her glasses at home so she couldn't read. Alexander is the masculine form of Alexandra. I made the little pink strap las year when I had nothing to do, I once bought a DIY kit to my sister with different kind of beads and straps, but she never used it so i took my chance...
To the right you see my extra keys, the little blue thing is a key ring I got when I was selling Tupperware a couple of years ago, its a kitchen scales, it's hard to know what it is if you don't have a clue :) I had a mini-can opener before, but I gave it to a friend of mine, because since I have recently moved I had the chance to try out all the stuff that I didn't know I had, it took us like 5 minutes to open a can, and I sold those things, I can't believe it. But once we got the hang of it I guess we could have opened cans for the rest of that day, I can tell you that we were laughing a lot :). I gave it to him as a memory, he hehe!
The red converse shoe is my favorite. I bought it in Las Vegas. I love converse shoes!
